With tastings of local specialities, hiking or mountain-bike trails through picture postcard settings and the Sainte-Marie Castle and its breathtaking view over the Luzv valley, the Luz-Saint-Sauveur area is teeming with activities to enjoy during your stay in the Pays Toy region.
Among the sites not to be missed is the Pic du Midi, 26 km away from our campsite in the Hautes-Pyrénées. The panorama over the mountain chain summits will leave you with some wonderful memories of a day out at high altitude with plenty of emotions. You can also visit the Pont d'Espagne bridge at the heart of the Pyrenees National Park with its famous waterfalls and lakes. From there, you can go on to see some other wonders of nature, such as the Marcadau valley or the Gaube lake, on foot or by chairlift. And how could we forget the Cirque de Gavarnie? This magnificent natural arena is the highlight of a charming summer hike or a great place to ski down the ski slopes in winter.
