Welcome to Luz-Saint-Sauveur, an attractive village in Hautes-Pyrénées, with all the charm of life in the mountains. With tastings of local specialities, hiking or mountain-bike trails through picture postcard settings and the Sainte-Marie Castle and its breathtaking view over the Luzv valley, the Luz-Saint-Sauveur area is teeming with activities to enjoy during your stay in the Pays Toy region.

Among the sites not to be missed is the Pic du Midi, 26 km away from our campsite in the Hautes-Pyrénées. The panorama over the mountain chain summits will leave you with some wonderful memories of a day out at high altitude with plenty of emotions. You can also visit the Pont d'Espagne bridge at the heart of the Pyrenees National Park with its famous waterfalls and lakes. From there, you can go on to see some other wonders of nature, such as the Marcadau valley or the Gaube lake, on foot or by chairlift. And how could we forget the Cirque de Gavarnie? This magnificent natural arena is the highlight of a charming summer hike or a great place to ski down the ski slopes in winter. Your stay at the campsite in Luz-Saint-Sauveur will also be a chance to visit museums with a rich regional heritage, to take part in some of the many festivals and events in local villages or to visit Lourdes, a legendary town near the campsite.

A whole host of leisure activities await you near our campsite in Luz-Saint-Sauveur. Outdoor sports obviously have pride of place in the region: canyoning, via ferrata, paragliding, bungee jumping and some outstanding hiking trails in magnificent natural sites are all easily accessible during your stay in Hautes-Pyrénées. Near the campsite, the Col du Tourmalet is a chance for cyclists to experience a memorable climb on the route made famous in the Tour de France. Fans of trail running can enjoy a wide range of spots to burn off the calories in unspoilt and preserved natural settings. In winter visitors swap their hiking shoes for skis and enjoy all the fun of the slopes. Snowboarding, skiing, sledging and a whole host of other snow sports will bring you some unforgettable experiences in the Pyrenees.
